I Love EMOOur Favourite EMO Tracks

EMO as described by Wikipedia is “Emo is a style of rock music typically characterized by melodic musicianship and expressive, often confessional lyrics. It originated in the mid-1980s hardcore punk movement of Washington, D.C., where it was known as “emotional hardcore” or “emocore” and pioneered by bands such as Rites of Spring and Embrace.”

I know people give out about EMO/Scene music and I have heard the jokes but I like some of this kind of music (not all of it). There are some great track that you can really scream out loud too and punch the air too. Please find below some of the best tracks out there today. In compiling the list I checked some website for a good list of EMO music. These are the main lists of band that I chose from Ranker.com and Wikipedia.org. I did create the list first then had to check to see if these bands were on it. Enjoy the music I do.
